Walk with Truth, Shine with Peace!
Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated at Shishuvatika on 3.10.2025 with great respect and enthusiasm. The day began with a special assembly where the teachers spoke to the children about Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation. Kids were explained about how Mahatma Gandhi, showed his love for India through truth, non-violence and simplicity.
The children came dressed as Gandhiji with placards showing Gandhiji's quotes. They sang patriotic songs, recited rhymes and presented short quotes of Gandhiji.
Through the celebration we were able to make the children realize that Gandhiji’s values are still relevant today and should be followed by everyone.
The programme ended with the message that true love for the country is shown by living in peace, unity and following the values taught by Gandhiji
