Little tots of Shishuvatika celebrated Ganesh Chathurthi on 6.9.2024 with great devotion and fervor.
Kids were explained about the significance of the festival though story narration and Bhajans. The students visited Ganesh Pandal at Chala Mokku, Tattamangalam where they observed the Idol of the Lord and the decorations made around.As a symbol of devotion, kids chanted slokhas from Bhagavat Gita and sought the blessings of Lord Ganesha,the symbol of wisdom and the remover of obstacles. In the spirit of the occasion, tiny tots made idols of the Lord using maida flour which helped them to enjoy the celebration as well as develop their fine motor skills and eye-hand co-ordination.
Festivals promote feelings of social cohesion and communal harmony.Through the celebration, we were able to inculcate the value of Spiritual Development in the young minds and also make them aware about the greatness of our rich culture
