To celebrate the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami, the kids of Chinmaya Shishuvatika Tattamangalam celebrated the birth of Lord Krishna on 27.8.2024 with lot of pomp and festivity.Tiny tots came dressed up as Krishnas and Radhas ,complete with flutes, peacock feathers and matkas.The significance of the festival was showcased through story narration, dance and Bhajans.
The main attraction of the day was the demonstration of butter making by the teachers and breaking of the matki by the little Krishnas.
The little ones added a traditional touch to the entire celebration when they danced to the beat of Janmashtami songs, filling the air with joy and festive spirit.
Little Krishnas and Radhas enjoyed the special assembly and learned about our culture as well as the importance of togetherness and building bonds with the people and community around us.The celebration was a beautiful way to make the kids learn, the glory of Lord Krishna and the relevance of his wisdom in all our lives.
