Mighty Mighty Microgreens
In connection with Green Day celebration, an initiative on the benefits of microgreen farming was introduced to the tiny tots, wherein, they learned some great life lessons, like ,from where their food comes or how to care for something on their own.A demonstration of microgreen farming was done by the teachers of Shishuvatika and tiny tots were asked to do the same activity in their homes.Little farmers grew microgreen with whatever seeds they had at home and were curious to observe the changes that happened daily to their
seeds. As an outcome ,bundle of happiness and excitement was seen on the cute faces when they brought the harvest of their own farming to school .Through this activity, children learned how to grow and take care of plants in a microgreen system. They understood that microgreens are the powerhouse of all nutritions and flavours.Green day celebration was an excellent learning opportunity for the kids and through this initiative, we were able to create young green ambassadors and inculcate the value of Universal Outlook...
A positive change when inculcated from a young age has a more wholesome outcome
