Onam is a joyous and a vibrant festival....a festival of fun and togetherness....
Kids of Chinmaya Shishuvatika Tattamangalam celebrated the colourful festival of onam on 2.9.2022 in all it's glory. The main objective of the celebration was to imbibe in our children the values and ethos of our culture and traditions.
Tiny tots brightened the campus with their traditional attires .
The day was marked by a special assembly which included story narration related with onam, speech, onam songs and dance. The main highlight of the celebration was the presentation of a traditional dance form-'Kaikotikali' by the beautiful mothers of our UKG kids.It was a good initiative from the school to involve parents and to keep our traditions alive and instill values in the tender tots.The children enjoyed games like Sundariku pottu kuthal and vadam vali.They also decorated the flower carpet with their tiny hands with the guidance of teachers which helped to enhance their aesthetic sense and fine motor skills. Each child actively participated in the celebration with joy and vigour. Each moment was enjoyable and a good learning opportunity for the kids.
