Let's celebrate the rich culture, traditions and unity of our beloved Kerala
Kids of Shishuvatika celebrated Kerala Piravi on 4.11.2024 with great pride and joy.Kids came dressed up in traditional kerala costume. A special assembly was conducted to celebrate this momentous occasion. There was a beautiful presentation related to Kerala's rich culture and tradition.Kids were adorned in different costumes of Kerala depicting various art forms such as Mohiniyattam,Kolkali, Thiruvathira, Oppana,Puli kali,Margam kali,etc.Few children dressed up as ancient rulers and kings of Kerala like Pazhazhi Raja, Sree Chithira Tirunal,Unni Archa and other great personalities like Sree Narayana Guru,Mahatma Ayyankali,etc.They also spoke a few words about Kerala. Children danced to the rhythmic tunes of koythu pattu and vanchi pattu. A special dance performance on Kerala's beauty was presented by the kids of UKG.All the 14 districts of Kerala were introduced to the children through an exciting map activity. The teachers explained about the State symbols and through the celebration, we were able to inculcate in them a sense of pride and belongingness to the state.....
